I found working with Stuart really helpful. He was excellent at reframing things from an objective point of view and helped me to gain a lot of perspective. I found the BWRT approach to be effective, particularly the visualisation exercises; they left me feeling grounded, more resilient and calmer about facing difficult situations or eventualities. I received very successful bereavement counselling and BWRT with Stuart’s help. Following the death of my brother, father and a close friend in a short space of time, I found myself struggling to move forward with my life and was looking for a different way of feeling and thinking about things.  Stuart provided a non-judgmental safe space, where I always felt comfortable and found talking with Stuart was easily achieved. I am so pleased that I am now able to move forward into the future.

I had a complete fear of injections or having blood taken, which I have had since my teens. I wanted to have my Covid jabs but I was simply unable to consider going because of my intense fear. It wasn’t just the injection, but the lead up and being in the room – I was convinced I would pass out. Stuart spent some time working with me so that I was able to get some clarity on things, which identified other issues I hadn’t considered. We worked through these using BWRT and then the needle phobia. I booked myself in for my Covid jab the next week, and I an delighted to say I actually found myself looking forward to it! I turned up, had the jab, and went home without any anxiety at all. I remain completely amazed by this and very thankful. I have recommended Stuart to my friends and family. Thank you.

I don’t think there are any words to describe just how much this has change my life. I know it’s a cliche, but after years of private therapy which only gave me small wins, I had resigned myself to the fact that I was a lost cause. Stuart has helped me overcome low self-esteem issues that I wasn’t even aware I still struggled with, issues with shame, multiple phobias, and fears, and addiction, all of which were interfering with my everyday life and relationships both at work and home. Stuart had a way of being able to unpick my thoughts and feelings, even when I couldn’t articulate them myself.
He’s actually pretty funny too- he’s the guy for you if you want to mix some humour with your therapy along the way to break it up a bit. His patience, commitment, solution focussed approach, professionalism, and confidence to get the job done is refreshing and has been a life saver for me. I don’t recognise myself anymore- in a good way. I will always be eternally grateful. Thank you, Stuart, for everything.

Stuart has helped me tremendously! I was in a very low place when I picked up the phone to him and now a few months on I am on a very different path. He really listened to me and made me feel very comfortable and able to open up.
